What Jobber is
Jobber is field service software used by 200,000+ home service businesses across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, cleaning, pool service, and adjacent trades. Founded in 2011, it’s one of the most established players in SMB field service tech.
For pool service specifically, Jobber is the default choice when you also do other trades. Its weakness for pool-only operations is the absence of native chemistry tracking — you can build chemical reads as a custom job form, but it’s not a first-class workflow.
Pricing
Jobber publishes pricing (rare in this category):
- Core: $39/mo — 1 user
- Connect: $129/mo — up to 5 users
- Grow: $249/mo — up to 15 users
- Plus: $459/mo — up to 30 users
All plans include a 14-day free trial. Annual billing typically discounts ~15%.
What it does well
- Transparent pricing. No demo required to budget.
- Customer hub. Branded portal where customers view jobs, invoices, and request work.
- Online booking. Lead capture from your website routes directly into your scheduling.
- Mature integrations. Stripe, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Google Calendar, plus dozens via Zapier.
- PartnerStack program. One of the few in pool-adjacent field service with historically recurring rev share.
Where it’s weaker
- No native chemical tracking. Pool-specific operators report missing LSI calculator and water-chemistry workflows. Workaround is custom job forms.
- Tier jumps. Adding your 6th user jumps you from Connect ($129) to Grow ($249).
- Route optimization is paywalled. Solo operators on Core lose this until Grow tier.
Best fit
Multi-trade home service operators who do pool service alongside lawn care, cleaning, or pressure washing. Solo pool-only operators may find QuoteIQ’s flat-rate plan simpler. Chemistry-focused operations should evaluate Skimmer.
Best fit
Multi-trade home service operators who do pool service alongside lawn care, cleaning, or pressure washing
Not ideal for
Pool-only operations dependent on LSI calculations and pool-specific equipment workflows (Skimmer or Pool Brain better)
